Board French Question Guidelines:

Guidelines for setting up of question papers: FRENCH  Paper –I

I. For CHOISISSEZ- Questions from dialogues of lessons 1-8 with three choices.
II. FOR VRAI OU FAUX &  III. FOR REPONDEZ- Questions must be chosen from dialogues of lessons 1-8. 
IV. FOR CONTRAIRES- Questions must be chosen from dialogues of lessons 1-8.Words with ambiguous meaning may be avoided.
V. FOR TRADUISEZ- 3 Dialogues must be chosen from lessons 1-8 for translation into English.
VI. FOR LISEZ -Any simple unseen text outside the text book.
VII. FOR RETROUVEZ- Sentences must be chosen from dialogues of lessons 1-8 without breaking the continuity of the dialogue.
VIII. FOR REDACTION-Two choices to be given. One essay topic must be chosen from 1- 4 lessons and the other topic from 5 – 8 lessons.Only essays on lesson topics to be given without any hints.

Note:  No question to be asked from the “section F” of lessons 1-8. 


Paper -II
1. Grammar exercises must be chosen from lessons 1-8.
2. 3 choices to be given. Dialogues must be given based on the themes of lessons 1-8.
3. 2 letters must be given based on the themes of the lessons 1-8.
4. Questions must be chosen strictly from lessons 1-8.
 
Note: No question to be asked from the “section F” of lessons 1-8.

(The above guidelines were framed last year at Namakkal meeting represented by two teachers from each district)
