Studying in France
If you are not a citizen of the European Union and you will be staying in France for more than 3 months and wish to pursue educational studies, before registering, ask if the organization you have chosen for yours studies allows you to obtain a "student" carte de séjour [resident permit]. Application must be made to the Préfecture de Police of your host city. In order to obtain this card you have to prove 20 hours of study per week.
